ABOUT
Paul Milner is a Yorkshire born British artist, much loved by the public and transcending all classes is famed for his unmistakably British treatment and portrayals of timeless elegance, cherished childhood memories, seaside figures, females observations, long hot summers and exotic retreats in a world unhurried.
Milner is highly prized by his collectors for beautifully capturing light and colour in both still life and figurative compositions, which ultimately reveal a point in a story, which people identify.
His work first reached a global audience in 1995, when he was chosen alongside other world-renowned artists, celebrities and musicians, to paint for The Prince’s Trust’s Mask Campaign. His beautifully crafted painted mask selected from a shortlisted celebrity 500 entries, was reproduced and appeared throughout London’s billboards, Tube, and famous red buses alongside fellow artists Paloma Picasso, His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales, Sir Richard Branson, Annie Lennox and Sting, before being auctioned at London’s Royal Festival Hall.
More widely, his original paintings and limited edition prints can be found in selected Fine Art Galleries. Many paintings are exported to a following of ex pats around the globe, who miss their homeland and find solace and sanctuary of British life, through his beautifully crafted and evocative paintings.
Now firmly a recognised name in the Art world, his reproductions can be found online and in every high street including WH Smith’s through an ever growing collection of high quality greeting cards and prints, reproduced by Felix Rosentiels, Woodmanstrerne and other Fine Art publishers.
